Terms of Service

By using Ketomi, you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable, not to hide surprises.

The service

Ketomi is a personal keto-coaching app. It lets you track your weight, log meals with AI photo-analysis, chat with an AI coach (Avo), generate meal plans, and more. A free tier is available for tracking; AI-powered features (Avo chat, photo analysis, meal plans) require a Premium subscription.

Ketomi is not a medical device or medical advice. The information Avo provides is general nutrition guidance, not diagnosis or treatment. Consult your doctor before starting a ketogenic diet, especially if you:

Have diabetes (blood sugar medications need adjustment)
Have kidney, liver or heart disease
Take blood thinners or thyroid medication
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have a history of eating disorders

You are responsible for your own health decisions. Ketomi and its creator are not liable for any health outcomes from following the advice in the app.

Your account

You must be 18 or older.
One person per account. Don't share your login.
You're responsible for keeping your password safe.
Provide truthful information -- the AI advice is only as good as the data it has.
Don't abuse the service: no spamming, no scraping, no trying to break things.

Premium subscriptions

Premium is a recurring subscription (monthly or yearly). Prices shown at checkout include VAT where applicable.
You can subscribe via the Ketomi website (processed by Stripe) or via the Ketomi Android app (processed by Google Play Billing). The price and features are the same on both channels.
Your subscription auto-renews until you cancel. Stripe subscriptions can be cancelled via your account settings or the Stripe customer portal. Google Play subscriptions are managed in the Google Play Store under "Subscriptions".
Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
Refunds: Stripe payments are handled case-by-case via hello@ketomi.app within 14 days of payment. Google Play purchases follow Google's refund policy and must be requested through the Play Store.
Founding members (users with accounts before public launch, plus the first 50 new signups) get lifetime free Premium as a thank-you for being early.
If we change prices, existing subscribers are notified at least 30 days in advance and can cancel before the new price takes effect.

Content you create

You own the data you put in (meal photos, notes, chat messages). By using Ketomi you give us permission to store, process and display that data to you, and to send it to AI providers to generate responses. We do not use your data to train AI models, and we don't sell it to anyone.

Our content

The Ketomi app, website, logo, "Avo" mascot, written content and code are our intellectual property. You may use the app as intended, but not copy or redistribute our content.

Availability

We try to keep Ketomi running 24/7, but we can't promise zero downtime. Occasional maintenance or outages may happen. We won't charge you for periods when the service was completely unavailable.

Termination

You can delete your account anytime from Settings. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service (spam, payment fraud, harassment). If we terminate your account, we'll refund any unused subscription time on a pro-rata basis.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ketomi's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages, health outcomes, or data loss caused by factors outside our control.

Governing law

Ketomi is operated by Silenrock OÜ, registered in Estonia. These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Estonia, unless you're a consumer with statutory rights to bring a claim in your home country.

Changes

If we update these terms, we'll email you and show a notice in the app. Material changes take effect 30 days after notification, giving you time to cancel if you don't agree.
